Andrew Thornton
Andrew is passionate about the mutual benefits that effective CX delivers to a business and its customers. He was at the forefront of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) movement in Australia as a business philosophy and is in demand as an expert speaker and educator on customer-related strategy.
Andrew’s career has spanned senior leadership roles in corporate Australia across the financial services, telecommunications, professional services and infrastructure sectors. A hallmark of his advisory work is his approach to coaching and mentoring his customers to deliver successful business outcomes.
Andrew holds a BBus from the David Syme Business School, Monash University and is a Graduate of the Harvard Leadership Program. He is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute (FAMI) and a Certified Practicing Marketer (CPM). He is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
Andrew is the Chairman of the Australian Marketing Institute and Deputy Chair of the Australian Society for Progress and Wellbeing.

Orla Tynan Babb
Orla has worked extensively in the small and medium market and is passionate about growing the business of her customers. She believes that thinking like a customer is the key to success, and understands how to think objectively to achieve that. Orla prides herself on her ability to forge strong relationships and work closely with partners, developing effective strategies to deliver the business objectives.
Orla’s career experience spans the IT, telecommunications and retail markets. She holds a BSc (Business Information Technology with Spanish) (Hons) from The University of Northumbria (UK) and is a Professional Member of the Australian Marketing Institute (AMIM).

David Laws
David is a thought leader and customer advocate. Having worked across the US, UK and European markets – and across various market sectors – David provides an international perspective on how to accelerate the change to a more customer-focused business model. David’s objective is to demonstrate that better business results can come from a sincere and genuine focus on customers. He believes that, for many businesses, the only real differentiator is how they engage their customers and deliver value to them. |
